The El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office launched a new, free service to help residents protect their property from potential fraud. Through a partnership with Harris Recording Solutions, the Recording Notification Service (RNS) will notify residents when a document is recorded in their name.
RNS offers an added layer of protection by sending automatic emails to enrolled users whenever a document, such as a deed or lien, is recorded with the El Paso County Recorder’s Office in their name. This allows residents to act quickly if any recording is unauthorized, which is helpful in today’s era of rising fraud concerns.
