The Colorado Springs Housing Authority owns and operates 706 units throughout Colorado Springs. These units are offered at subsidized rents (30% of gross income) to eligible families, seniors, and persons with disabilities. Income and rent are reviewed annually. Units are inspected annually as well. Applicants are required to move to one of the units within Colorado Springs when they are offered a unit.

Greccio owns or manages properties throughout Colorado Springs which provide housing for approximately 1,150 residents annually. Greccio works to reduce the housing expense burden for the residents who live with us.

he Rocky Mountain Community Land Trust (RMCLT) mission is to provide quality, affordable housing for low-income families in El Paso County and the City of Colorado Springs.

Please note that due to limited resources, it is possible that not all qualified applicants will get accepted into one of our programs. We currently offer two types of Transitional Housing with Ithaka: Low-Barrier Transitional Housing (for individuals) and Service-Enhanced Transitional Housing (for families). Our goal in working with applicants is to find the right housing program fit for you.

Families make a bold choice to enroll with Partners in Housing. Beyond receiving one year of transitional housing, our families commit to: • Individualized case management, • Life skills training, • Budget and credit counseling • Career preparedness and placement

The Public Housing program provides affordable rental apartment communities and scattered homes and apartments (known as “scattered sites”) that give rental assistance to participants. The organizations that administer this program and own the properties are called Public Housing Agencies (commonly called housing authorities), which are funded and overseen by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Home Retrofits Brothers Redevelopment’s Home Modification and Repair (HMR) Department is anchored by strong partnerships with local governments. They fund our Help for Homes, Home Rehabilitation and Home Modification programs, which improve residential safety and accessibility and address aging-home concerns.

Pikes Peak Habitat's Home Repair Program focuses on serving cost-burdened homeowners, veterans, and seniors so they can continue to live in safe, decent homes for years to come.

The guide examines what makes a house or apartment age-friendly and suggests the kinds of modifications that can be implemented so a home can become safer, more comfortable and a better fit for its residents — of every age.

The Independence Center - Universal Design. These home modifications will assist the client to have changes made to the home that will improve safety and accessibility.

Medicaid and Nonmedicaid Waiver Our Home Health department can assist you in getting a home modification if qualified under Medicaid. Medicaid currently offers up to $14,000 in home modification support for those currently enrolled with a qualifying Medicaid waiver.

Next Day Access is a contracted agency with the Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging. They offer high-quality home accessibility products.

Council of Neighbors and Organizations empowers neighbors and neighborhoods to take action in their communities through education and connection.

Neighborhood Services serves to protect the health, safety, and welfare of city neighborhoods by mitigating signs of urban blight. They strive to do this through solutions orientated problem solving and enforcement of the City Code of Colorado Springs.

Sunshine Home Share Colorado is a nonprofit organization helping you utilize the extra space in your home as a way to generate income, receive assistance with basic household chores, decrease isolation, and help provide housing to someone needing an affordable place in their ability to age in place by increasing their network of support.
